If you enjoy competitive sailing in Charleston, want to learn more, desire to expand your racing horizons, and would like to meet friendly people who share your interest in sailing, you should become a member of the Charleston Ocean Racing Association.

We conduct over 30 regattas each year in the Charleston Harbor and Offshore waters, with a competitive fleet of over 80 local racing yachts. Additionally, we host a marquee event annually in April, the Charleston Race Week, with over 250 boats competing in this highly acclaimed international regatta. 

COME TO A CORA MONTHLY MEETING

We hold monthly Member meetings, which are held the third Thursday of every month at the Charleston Yacht Club, except June, July and August,  wherein we race every Wednesday night and have after-race awards ceremonies at the Charleston Yacht Club.  You can join us for all these great events for a modest $52 Associate Membership.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Associate Membership is $52 and good for one year from the date of payment.

Boat Owner Membership is $206.

Boat Owners must submit a signed CAPTAINS WAIVER each year, prior to racing. These forms may be mailed to the address below or emailed to CORA Secretary . New boats must submit a PHRF rating application to the CORA measurer.
